Wall of Pride
To honor and help our Heroes

In honor of those who signed on the dotted line that they were willing
to pay up to and including their life in defense of our great Nation,
a Wall of Pride has been built around the flag pole at Stand Down House.

We are offering commemorative bricks, to be placed on the Wall of Pride,
that can be purchased in honor and/or memory of a Veteran, Military Service
Member or Reservist (living, deceased, or POW MIA) or as a sign of respect
and gratitude for our Military Heroes. The interior of the horseshoe-shaped wall
faces the parking lot so that those honored and remembered can be easily seen.
All proceeds will benefit our past & present Military Service Members.

You can purchase a commemorative brick using the form below
(and pay with your PayPal account or a Credit Card) or by check.

Take Flight Award Celebration Gala
Our 9th Annual Take Flight Award Gala, benefitting Palm Beach County veterans,
was held on November 7. This year's theme was a Time to Soar and your support
did just that as proceeds supported our programs and initiatives. This year's Eagle
Recipient was retired Staff Sergeant Brian Mast, who lost both his legs and
suffered other injuries in an IED explosion in Afghanistan in 2010.

MOAA Community Hero Award
On October 30, in recognition of his devoting his "time and energy to provide
exceptional service and support to the wounded military and veterans' communities,"
Roy Foster was awarded a 2015 Military Officers Association of America (MOAA)
Community Hero Award and received this signed and numbered original print by
artist M.B. Dallocchio, a female Iraq war veteran.

Supportive Services for Veteran Families Grant
We are pleased to announce that we were awarded a grant through the Supportive
Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program for this fiscal year, which started
October 1, which will help us provide assistance & supportive services to homeless
and at-risk veteran families in Palm Beach County so that they can find or remain in
their homes. We have been awarded this grant yearly since the inception of this
DVA funded initiative to prevent & end homelessness among our veterans.

Who Has Been Helped
Because of supporters like yourself

With your help Faith*Hope*Love*Charity, Inc. has been successful in
lending a helping hand to the men & women who serve(d) our country
with honor. In 2013 alone your donations helped us:

  • provide 8,719 housing nights for 102 male veterans at Stand Down House
  • provide services and assistance to more than 800 veterans and their families
through our First Stop Veterans Resource Center (FSVRC)
  • We continue to provide services to support & assist those who gave so
much for all of us. However, we can't do it alone. An increasing number
are walking through our doors & we need you to "help us help them!"
Please donate and/or continue to send donations today.

    Every dollar helps!
